Governor JB Pritzker addressed the State Tuesday with a daily press conference. The Governor stressed that testing is important. Testing not only for the symptoms of COVID-19, but also for the scale and severity of the outbreak.
Governor Pritzker says that the National Guard has opened up a testing site to collect specimens from Healthcare workers to help with figuring out how the coronavirus affects them.
Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of Public Health announced 250 new cases and 4 new deaths bringing the total to 1,535 cases in 32 counties.
