The Taylorville Police Department will be hosting the first quarterly Neighborhood watch meeting on March 22nd at 3PM and will last between an hour and an hour and a half on the bottom floor of the Municipal Building in Taylorville. Taylorville Police Officer Kirsten Bolinger says that the meeting will be covering a lot of topics depending on what the zone Captains want to discuss.
The neighborhood watch is often thought of as being just a way to watch out for crime, but it’s also a way to help those in your neighborhood who may be going through a rough time.
Officer Bolinger says there are many ways that you can get involved.
