Taylorville Memorial Hospital had its first day of seeing patients in the new wing on Wednesday. Along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce, members of Taylorville Memorial Hospital were around to answer questions and help escort people where they needed to go. After transferring patients at 6 AM from the old area of the hospital to the new wing in the hospital, CEO and President of Taylorville Memorial Hospital Kim Bourne said it was smooth as silk.

Bourne says that it has been great to see the transition and watch it go from paper to actually stand in the new area. 

TMH patients have been very happy and were amazed to come over to the new inpatient area.
