The Moultrie County Health Department is honoring April as Child Abuse Awareness Month to recognize a serious issue. Public Health Services Coordinator Glenda Plunkett shares what the month is all about.
The hints are to help educate both partents, and the public, about child abuse. Also, to help promote awareness, Plunkett says blue pinwheels are doing the trick.
