Everyone knows someone who is affected by drugs in some way or another whether that is through their own addiction or a loved one that is struggling.
The Christian County Prevention Coalition is out on a mission to make a difference in the community to help those who are struggling. Dennis Metsker says the event, Hope For Recovery End The Trend, coming up on September 15th at Kitchell Park in Pana is hoping to make a real difference.
This day is about giving those struggling with drug addiction the means to get help and the resources to make a difference. Gail Miller is also with the Christian County Prevention Coalition, she says one of her favorite aspects of the day is the job listing booth.
