There is an opportunity to give blood in assumption coming in early September. Jenica Hopkins, the Associate Donor Relations Consultant, says its important for people to donate, especially since it is right after the holiday weekend.
Hopkins also mentioned that the Central Illinois Community Blood Center has been giving blood to Hawaii due to the hurricane that is hitting the islands.
The blood drive in assumption is on September 6th from 3:30 to 6 in the afternoon.
