Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency Director Diana Holmes tells Regional Radio that several areas in Nokomis are presently without power, with power hopefully restored today. The Nokomis City Hall has been established as a Warming Center and residents of Nokomis without power are encouraged to go to Nokomis City Hall until power is restored. Those needing transportation to the Nokomis City Hall Warming Center are to call 217-313-0994. Holmes says she doesn’t know when the power will be back on.
