THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
Jason Barr, 41, of Pana, was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant for domestic battery.
ACCIDENT:
On December 21st at 9:50 a.m., Olivia J. McLaughlin, 18, of Taylorville, was traveling southeast on 1300 East Road. She dropped her billfold and reached down to pick it up off the floor board. McLaughlin went off the right side of the road and continued to travel southeast in the ditch. She struck a field entrance/culvert, went over the culvert and landed in trees while still facing southeast.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
On December 21st, Taylorville Police Officers made contact with Tilur Miller, of Taylorville, at Amity Food Mart. They knew Tilur Miller to have a valid Christian County warrant. He was arrested on a warrant and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
On December 19th at 1:01 pm., Walmart called and reported they were detaining two female shoplifters. When the officers arrived, Cara Montgomery of Taylorville, and Sue McArdle-Falconer, of Taylorville, both were arrested for retail theft, and both were processes and released on a Notice to Appear.
