THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
Kane Passini, 19, of Kincaid, was arrested on December 15th for theft.
James Flanagan, 48, of Taylorville, was arrested on December 16th for DUI, obstructing justice, driving on a suspended/revoked license.
ACCIDENTS:
On December 15th at 8:40 p.m., Jacob W. Lahr26, was traveling east on County Highway #20 at the intersection with county highway #5. Lahr approached the intersection too fast and could not stop. He traveled off the east side of the roadway and hit a wood post and electric fence.
On December 15th at 4:45 p.m., Beth M. Morrell, 35, of Pana, was traveling west bound on 250 north road at 2575 east, a deer entered the roadway from the south. Morrell struck the deer in the roadway.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
On December 13th, officers conducted a traffic stop in front of 2100 Grand Boulevard. The driver, Gabriel R. Greer status was checked and showed she had three active warrants. Two valid out of Sangamon County and one D.O.C. She was taken to the Christian County Correctional Center to await transportation to Sangamon County.
On December 11th at 6:06 p.m., Taylorville Police Department received a call on a reckless driver coming into town on Spresser Street. The traffic stop was made on Taft and Springfield. Kevin Rensman, of Rochester, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
