Christian County Coroner Amy Calvert Winans has released autoposy results from last week's fatal hit and run accident on Illinois Route 48 near Stonington.

Preliminary autopsy results for 22 year old Devun L. Rohdemann of Taylorville show that she died from multiple blunt injuries sustained as a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. Toxicology testing is pending.

Ms. Rohedemann died at about 3 in the morning last Friday, after she was being struck by a vehicle while walking along Illinois Route 48. The driver has come forward and the Illinois State Police are handling the investigation. The driver's vehicle has been seized but no arrests have been made.
