Sheriff provides Details of Pana Shooting

More details are coming out after Pana man was killed by an Illinois State Police SWAT Team late last month. Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp tells Regional radio News the situation unfolded in the early morning hours of July 29th:

The Sheriff negotiated with the suspect until the Illinois State Police SWAT Team arrived:

The Pana Police Officer who was shot suffered a serious wound to his left arm. The officer, who is the father of two, is still recovering. The man killed was identified as 25 year-old Josh A. Edwards of Pana.
