One of the sights Garden Walk participants will see Saturday.

The Master Gardeners of Christian County are gearing up for the 2014 Christian County Garden Walk event this Saturday.  The Garden Walk gives people a chance to see what works and what doesn’t for the homeowners who have taken up the challenge of sharing their ideas, their successes and their gardening projects with visitors. 

This year the Walk will feature gardens in and around Stonington and northeastern Taylorville. Six garden growers have agreed to open their gardens to visitors on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., rain or shine.  Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 if purchased at the garden sites on the day of the event.
