THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARREST:

William I. Miller, 23, of 1179 Ridgebrook Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio, was arrested June 13 for arson and damage to personal property greater than $150 and for criminal trespass to land.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On June 9 at 4:55pm, Theresa A. Lease, 47, of Taylorville was traveling north on Illini Drive and had stopped in the roadway due to an incident with Samantha J. Zepin, 19, of Taylorville. Zepin, who was also traveling north on Illini Drive, struck the back of Lease's bicycle causing damage. There was a disagreement between Lease and Zepin in regards to the cause of the collision. Zepin's vehicle was still operable but Lease's bicycle was not. Lease suffered injuries that were described as minor in the report but Lease refused medical treatment. Zepin reported no injuries.
