Amber Berman

United Way Worldwide has recognized Amber Berman, program assistant in the Lincoln Land Community College Student Life Office and advisor for the Student United Way organization,  as the 2014 Campus Advisor of the Year Award.

LLCC’s Student United Way is a student-led organization that works in partnership with United Way of Central Illinois. Among its activities, the club recently sponsored a “sleep out for the homeless” on the LLCC campus to raise awareness of homeless in the community. LLCC Student United Way also co-sponsored Battle of the Bands this spring which raised $600 for United Way of Central Illinois.
