Three people were sent to the hospital following a 2-vehicle crash Friday. Around 8:28am, 76-year-old Norma J. Rever of Assumption was northbound on 2600 East Road and 35-year-old Justin L. Smith of Pana was eastbound on Route 16 approaching 2600 East Road. Rever reportedly stopped at the stop sign and proceeded across Route 16 causing a collision with Smith. Rever stated she did not see Smith when she proceeded into the intersection. Smith, along with his passengers 20-year-old Tyler S. Halleman of Pana and 19-year-old John P. George of Pana, were all transported to Pana Community Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not physically evident.
