If you are a veteran or have a family member who is a veteran from Assumption, there is a day next month that you may want to mark on your calendar. Jim Bugg with the Veterans Memorial Committee tells Regional Radio News they will be dedicating an Assumption Veterans Memorial on May 25th:

Bugg says the dedication will follow the annual VFW Auxiliary dinner which is from 11 AM to 1 PM at St. Mary's Parish Hall. More information can be found on their website, assumptionveteransmemorial.com.
