The Taylorville Park Board was presented with a resolution to authorize the opening of bank accounts at CNB Bank & Trust and First National Bank on Spresser. Secretary/Bookkeeper MaryAnn Becker explains why this is being done:

The Board approved the resolution unanimously.

The Taylorville Park Board heard some more good news in regards to last summer’s lifeguard and pool crew. After receiving outstanding marks on all their audits throughout the season, Recreation Director Bailey Hancock told the Board they just received an award for it:

Hancock says they had over 40 rescues and the crew was well deserving of the award.

The Taylorville Park Board received a thank you letter from the Christian County Genealogical Society. President Marlane Miller read the letter to the Board:

The Board then approved a $1,000 donation to the group.

The Board was informed that the thirty day notice for public inspection for the Fiscal Year  2014-15 budget has begun and the budget will be voted on at the next meeting.
