Taylorville High School senior Aundrea Marsh and junior Emilie Eson (E-sahn) joined Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp to kick off the “Your Actions Matter” campaign. “Your Actions Matter” is a youth-led initiative to remind adults to not give alcohol to minors. Marsh and Eson placed tags on bottles of alcohol and stickers on the cooler doors. Marsh tells Regional Radio News why this event is important:

Eson says the tags serve as a good reminder:

Sheriff Kettelkamp said it was great to see the youth get involved in this campaign. Stops were made at the Mach 1 Food Shop, FS Fuel 24, and Casey’s General Stores in Taylorville. Students from Pana and Central A&M High Schools also participated in the kick-off campaign in their respective communities.
