THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ACCIDENTS:
On September 4, Stone M. Casad, 17, of Chatham, was traveling northbound on 475 East Road approaching the curve for 2080 North Road. 475 East Road had been flinked with rock. Casad said that he hit the brakes but was not stopping. Casad said that he then hit the brakes harder and began to slide. Casad left marks on the roadway for approximately 100 yards. Benjamin C. Soard,32, of Urbana, was southbound on 475 E Road. Casad struck Soard in the left front fender. No injuries were reported.

ARRESTS:
Aaron F. Hall, 36, of 720 West Vandeveer Street, Taylorville, was arrested September 5 for violating sex offender registration

David W. Moma, 21, of 103 North Chestnut, Assumption, was arrested September 4 on a bond forfeiture for retail theft.

Justin R. Sherman, 31, if 1412 South Houston Street, Taylorville, was arrested September 4 for driving on a suspended/revoked license.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On September 4 at 10:35pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were sent to 720 West Vandeveer in reference to a male trying to get into the residence. Aaron F. Hall, 36, of Taylorville was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender. He was transported to Taylorville Police Department for processing then transported to Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

On August 27, a Taylorville Police Department was dispatched to Wal-Mart in regards to a retail theft. The officer was given information in regards to two female subjects taking items from the store. The officer identified the female subjects from security photos as Tonya D. Fisher, 37, of Taylorville and Devun L. Rohdemann, 21, of Taylorville. The officer later located Fisher and Rohdemann and placed them under arrest. The two were processed and released on a notice to appear.
