The 2013 Christian County Fair kicked off Tuesday night with the 72nd Annual Miss Christian County Fair Queen Pageants.
A humid evening did not stop the crowd from filling the grandstands and enjoying the three Fair Queen Pageants.
The evening began with the 2013 Little Miss Christian County Fair Queen Pageant. Receiving second place was Emylie Hall, daughter of Justin and Danielle Hall of Taylorville. First place winner was Lydia Repscher, daughter of Matt and Melissa Repscher of Taylorville. The 2013 Little Miss Christian County went to Kelsie Hunt. Kelsie is the daughter of Tony and Christy Hunt of Taylorville.
Following the Little Miss pageant, was the 2013 Jr. Miss Christian County Pageant. Miss Congeniality was awarded to Hallie Schneider. Hallie is the daughter of Jim and Connie Schneider of Morrisonville. Second runner-up was Faith Lindsey, daughter of Kylie Barlow and Jim Lindsey of Taylorville. First runner-up went to Faith Maxwell, daughter of Robin Maxwell of Taylorville. Kennedy Mann was crowned 2013 Jr. Miss Christian County. Kennedy is the daughter of Adrienne Mann of Taylorville.
Concluding the evenings pageants, was the Miss Christian County Pageant. The People’s Choice Award went to Olivia Curtin. Olivia is the daughter of Jim and Shelly Curtin of Taylorville. Receiving second runner-up was Kimberly King, daughter of Laura and David King of Kincaid. Frist runner-up went to Erynn Hendricks. Erynn is the daughter of David and Sandy Hendricks of Taylorville. Catlin Walter was crowned 2013 Miss Christian County. Catlin also received the Miss Congeniality Award. She is the daughter of Mike and Lori Walter of Owaneco.
