>>Illinois Drowns Out Gonzaga

(Spokane, WA)  --  As heard on Newstalk 97.3 WTIM, Brandon Paul scored 35 points to lead Illinois in an 85-74 win over Gonzaga on Saturday night. Tracy Abrams added 14 points while D.J. Richardson scored 11 for the Illini, who improved to 10-and-0.  The Illini are back at it tomorrow night at home against Norfolk State.

>>Vikings Hold Off Bears

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Adrian Peterson rushed for 154 yards and a pair of first quarter touchdowns as the Vikings held on to beat the Bears, 21-14.  Jay Cutler finished 22-of-44 for 260 yards with a TD and two picks, but left late in the fourth quarter after taking a hit to the head.  Brandon Marshall had 10 catches for 160 yards and a TD for Chicago, which has lost four-of-five to slip to 8-and-5.  The Bears host the Packers next Sunday.

>>Rams Rally Past Bills

(Orchard Park, NY)  --  Sam Bradford's lone touchdown pass of the day came with 48 seconds left in the game and led the St. Louis Rams to a 15-12 win over the Buffalo Bills.  Bradford hit Brandon Gibson for a 13-yard score to give the Rams their third straight win for the first time since 2006.  Steven Jackson rushed for 64 yards on 19 carries and added a touchdown.  The 6-6-and-1 Rams return home to host the Vikings next week.

>>Notre Dame's Te'o Finishes Second In Heisman Vote

(New York, NY)  --  Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o [[ MAN-tye  TAY-oh ]] finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting.  Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel [[ man-ZELL ]] became the first freshman to ever win the award.  Kansas State QB Collin Klein was third.  The Fighting Irish take on Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game on January 7th.

>>Bulls In Action Tomorrow Night

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Bulls welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to United Center tomorrow night.  On Saturday evening, Chicago beat the Knicks, 93-85.  Friday, the Bulls beat the Pistons in Detroit.  The Bulls are 11-and-8 on the season.
