Pana Panthers Going On the Road to Face Tolono Unity in the First Round of the IHSA Playoffs

 width=The Pana Panthers won on Friday night over Hillsboro 28-21 to get to 5-4 on the season. Still in the IHSA that does not necessarily mean a playoff berth.

Well on Saturday night it was announced that Pana would be in the playoffs.

Pana Coach Al Stupek says that although Pana made some mistakes early against Hillsboro early he credits his team for the comeback win.

Stupek says that Pana’s first round opponent in the playoffs is a good football team.

Pana will be going on the road to face the 8-1 Rockets of Tolono Unity. Pana does have an impressive road record this season of 4-1 though, including a victory over the South Central Champion Carlinville Cavaliers.
