(Taylorville)—The Miller Media Group based in Taylorville, signed on its newest radio station, Hott Hits 96.3, Sunday afternoon just before 6 o’clock.

          The new station’s signal, which covers Christian County and surrounding area, features a hot adult contemporary format via satellite from the Dial-Global Radio Network in Valencia, California.  The new 96.3 FM station operates 24/7 and plays the best mix of hit songs from today, as well as from the 1990’s and 1980’s.  Dial-Global brands the format as “Top 40 Radio for Adults” without rap or hard rock.  Artists heard include Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Train, Pink, Nickelback, Gwen Stefani, Daughtry, Coldplay, and Cee Lo Green.

           Hott Hits 96.3 broadcasts a local news update each hour, weather twice an hour, and NBC Radio Network News every hour at :50.

            The new station joins groovy 93.5, WRAN Solid Gold 98.3, WMKR Genuine Country 94.3, and WTIM Newstalk 97.3, that all operate from studios at 918 East Park in Taylorville.
