A sharp-eyed Taylorville Police officer helped collar a suspect Tuesday night at Manner’s Park. According to reports, the officer recognized the suspect as having a warrant out for his arrest in Macoupin County. 20-year-old Joseph A. Leckner of Taylorville was arrested, taken to the Christian County Jail, held there in lieu of bond.

Sunday evening Taylorville Police were summoned to the Taylorville Route Mart after reports of a man taking items without paying. After a brief search, officers arrested 19-year-old Ryan E. Clay of Taylorville. He was accused of retail theft. Police processed Clay and released him on a notice to appear.

32 year old Rhonda M. Whitlow of Taylorville was arrested for domestic battery.

42 year-old Richard W. Cloe, of Pana was arrested on a warrant for reckless driving.
