Area Arrests And Accidents 10/10/25

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

10/8/25

 

Jacob Samson, 41, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Meth Delivery and Possession of Methamphetamine.

 

Danny Stanberry, 42, of Pana was arrested by the Pana Police Department for Possession of Methamphetamine, Criminal Trespass to Land and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

Kellie Wingo, 35, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Meth Delivery and Possession of Methamphetamine.

 

10/9/25

George Bailey, 53, of Taylorville was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Violation of Stalking/No Contact Order.

 

10/5/25 at 1:16 p.m.

Jeffrey Wood, 50, of Taylorville (Unit 1) and Kristen Coy, 39, of Taylorville (Unit 2)

Unit 1 was behind Unit 2 in the turn land when Unit 1 and Unit 2 were attempting to make a rand hand turn. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the rear bumper.

 

10/6/25 at 5:25 p.m.

Zachary Clutter, 32, of Pana (Unit 1) and Sonda Holthaus, 59, of Pana (Unit 2)

Unit 2 was stopped at IL RT 16 and approximately 2655 E waiting to navigate a left hand turn into Unit 2’s driveway. Unit 1 struck the back of Unit 2’s vehicle and the driver of Unit 1 stated that his vehicle lost its ability to break while attempting to stop.

10/03/25

 

A Juvenile Male, age 13, of Taylorville, was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property and Residential Burglary.

 

Nicholas A. Simmons, age 29, of Taylorville, was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property and Residential Burglary.

 

10/05/25

 

Steven M. Frazier, age 51, of Taylorville, was arrested on a Warrant.

 

Taylorville Police arrested the following accidents:  

 

On September 28th at 10:52 AM.  Gerald L. Hogge of Taylorville was at stoplight heading east on Springfield Road/Route 29 in the right lane.  Dorothy L. Hagemeier of Nokomis was in the turning lane facing north to turn left on Route 104.  Hogge went when the light was green, than noticed a truck next to him hit the brakes.  Hogge noticed that Hagemeier was turning left onto Route 104.  The vehicles hit.  No injuries were reported but both cars were heavily damaged. 

 

On October 1st, 2025 at 11:40 AM  Ronald Peak of Springfield was parked at the Walmart in Taylorville.  He proceeded to back up and didn't see a second vehicle.  The vehicle was unoccupied but had major damage.  No injuries were reported. 

 

October 2nd, 2025 at 7:43 PM.  A minor from Auburn and Christopher Veach from Edinburg were traveling westbound on Springfield Road.  Christopher Veach was ahead of the minor and turned on their turn signal to turn right into Dairy Queen, when the minor tried to pass Veach and struck Veach on the back passenger side.  No injuries were reported.
