The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
6/7/25
Randy Beaman, 73, of Taylorville was arrested by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office for DUI.
6/9/25
Geraldine Wickliffe, 34, of Decatur was arrested by the Taylorville Police Department for Obstructing Justice.
6/4/25 at 5:13 a.m.
Jennifer Prince, 50, of Kincaid was traveling North on 1300 East RD when a deer entered the roadway. The vehicle was unable to avoid the deer and struck the front of the vehicle.
6/4/25 at 6:05 p.m.
Brett Wilkerson, 31, of Nokomis was traveling North on 1250 East RD and 707 North RD when it began to hydroplane. the vehicle left the roadway to the east and skidded back onto the roadway where it began to barrel roll. The vehicle rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop in the middle of both lanes on 1250 East RD. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Jachino’s Towing.
6/6/25 at 12:00 a.m.
Jaclyn Hennings, 42, of Owaneco was traveling North on 1400 East RD when a deer ran into the driver side of the vehicle and damaged the rear driver side door.

6/05/25
Timothy L. Mcroy, age 44, of Taylorville, was arrested for Battery.
Richard C. Shivers, age 51, of Taylorville, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Disorderly Conduct.
Eric R. Welge, age 23, of Taylorville, was arrested on a Warrant.
6/06/25
Jacob D. Hall, age 26, of Taylorville, was arrested for Burglary and a Warrant.
Aaron M. Steele, age 35, of Riverton Illinois, was arrested for Burglary.
6/08/25
Alexandria M. Davis, age 22, of Coffee Illinois, was arrested for DUI.
Jesse D. Melton, age 24, of Springfield Illinois, was arrested for Reckless Driving, Fleeing and Eluding.
The Taylorville Police Department responded to the following vehicle accidents:
June 5th 2025, 3:43 PM at Spresser and Main Cross. Ronald A. Calpito of Taylorville did not stop at the stop sign on Main Cross and Shumway, heading east on Main Cross Street. Donna J. Radzimanowsky of Taylorville was almost through the intersection heading south on Shumway Street and was struck by Calpito. No injuries were reported. Calpito received a citation for disobeying a stop sign.
