The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News:

07-06-22 Joshua Emmerling, age 41, of Taylorville was arrested on a FTA warrant for theft.
 

07-07-22 Cole Montgomery, age 23, of Taylorville was arrested by Kincaid PD for aggravated fleeing of police.

07-07-22 Jacob Coonrod, age 33, of Morrisonville was arrested by CCSO for domestic battery.

Crashes

07-05-22 Nickolas Todd and Lennard Strumpfer were involved in a traffic crash in Taylorville. Strumpfer was traveling east on Main Cross St. at the intersection of Main Cross and Powers St. Todd did not see Strumpfer and struck the vehicle in the passenger rear side. Strumpfer’s vehicle was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

07-04-22 William Maulding was traveling southbound on County Highway 13 approaching the T-intersection with County Highway 2. Maulding failed to stop and exited the roadway into the south ditch. Maulding struck two traffic signs and continued traveling south into a planted bean field. He then did an U-turn and entered another bean field. Maulding attempted to get back on the roadway but became hung up in the south ditch. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Maulding was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News:

07-06-2022 - Joseph M. Besson, age 36, of Taylorville was arrested for Criminal Trespassing.

07-06-2022 - Sheila J. Albright, age 59, of Taylorville was arrested for Criminal Trespassing.

07-07-2022 - Linda D. Stevens, age 52, of Taylorville was arrested for Aggravated Assault.

07-07-2022 - Madison L. Miller, age 25, of Taylorville was arrested for DUI.
