The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
30 year old Christopher M. Murphy of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for possession of methamphetamine.
The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;
On Friday, TPD received a call for a one-vehicle/pedestrian traffic crash in the 500 block of North Cheney. A vehicle driven by 54 year old Paul D. Held of Taylorville was traveling northbound on Cheney Street, when a male pedestrian, 71 year old Danny E. Adams of Taylorville stepped into traffic off the sidewalk. Held struck the male pedestrian who was attempting to walk eastbound across Cheney Street. Adams was transported to Springfield Memorial with serious injuries.
51 year old Brenda L. Barker of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for no valid drivers license.
52 year old Charles D. Kile of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for no valid driver’s license.

There were 4 EMS calls and 1 Fire call between 9 AM on Tuesday and 9 AM on Wednesday.
