Luke Altmyer went 16-25 for 192 yards and Zakhari Franklin had 9 receptions for 99 yards as the Illinois Fighting Illinis improved to 2-0 over the #19 Kansas Jayhawks. Illinois led 13-10 at halftime thanks to an Xavier Scott pick 6 and a couple David Olano field goals. A Kaden Feagin touchdown would seal the deal for the Fighting Illini who move to 2-0 on the season. Kansas drops to 1-1.
