For Pana head football coach Trevor Higgins, individual awards were never a big deal for him. So when he found out that he had been named Chicago Bears High School Coach of the Week for week 2 of the high school season, he was speechless. Higgins has coached his Pana Panthers to a 3-0 record. He says the award is difficult to talk about.



Coach Higgins attributes the Panthers successes this year to their offensive and defensive lines.


Coach Higgins is happy for the support that he gets for his home games but it is still very emotional.



Coach Higgins' 4 year old son Evan, tragically passed away earlier this year. Coach Higgins will be awarded at a special game in Chicago when the Bears play the Chiefs on December 22nd.
