Fox to air NFL games in Mexico from 2026 season

June 8 (Reuters) – Fox will air National Football League games on its platforms in Mexico starting with the 2026 season under a multi-year agreement announced on Monday.

The deal comes as media companies continue betting on live events to boost viewership and drive subscriber growth amid competition from a mature streaming market.

Here are more details:

• The deal will give Mexican viewers access to a broad slate of games each year, including Thursday Night Football, the Sunday regular-season games, and Thanksgiving Day matchups.

• The agreement also covers all playoff games from the NFC, one of the NFL’s two conferences, along with the annual Pro Bowl Games and the Super Bowl – the league’s championship game.

• Fox will distribute content across its linear TV channels FOX and FOX+, its FOX One streaming service, and select programming on FOX on Tubi, a free streaming platform.

• Beyond live games, Fox will air four weekly original NFL programs for Mexican audiences, including two weekly editions of a fantasy football-focused show.
