Students at Lincoln Land Community College are preparing for the start of the fall semester, which comes this Monday. Those taking classes at Taylorville’s campus can expect a new look to some areas, along with a number of amenities intended to ease the transition into classes. Elizabeth Fines-Workman, the Taylorville campus’s director, says the early activities will revolve around food.
The food-related activities will continue into the second week and become more elaborate.
Indoor spaces such as the outreach center now have more branded wallpaper and other elements Fines-Workman considers home-like.
Fines-Workman encourages current and prospective students to use the time at Lincoln Land to explore, be curious, and discover where their true interests are.
