The Christian County Sheriff's Office has reported that Illinois Route 29 is closed due to a traffic crash investigation. 

People traveling southbound from Taylorville northbound from Owaneco should consider alternate routes as IL 29 will be closed between Owaneco and the Christian County Correctional Facility.
