With its merger with Central Commodity FS now complete, Gateway FS is turning its attention to navigating the current ag industry.  Declining commodity prices and rising input costs have created challenges for farmers and equipment vendors alike.  The company hopes its wider geographical reach will allow it to better support customers for whom these trends are highly relevant. 

Mark Bauman, general manager for Gateway FS, says even improved outcomes in the coming harvest season will likely take a few years to become apparent in commodity markets.

Bauman says Gateway FS will do what it can to support customers despite what he says is the company’s scarce say on prices.
