With nine weeks left before Chillifest, more of the organizational components are coming together for the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce.  Pageant registration opened on Saturday, and sponsor slots are filling up.  Interested contestants for the chili cook-offs can register, and shirts will become available as well.  Operations Coordinator April Wolfe says the Chamber intends to keep the community updated as more progress is made. 

Most of the higher-level sponsor slots have been taken, but more opportunities for interested businesses and even individuals are available, as well. 

For the first time this year, Taylorville Memorial Hospital will sponsor the kids’ zone.  Jay Boulanger, community health consultant for TMH, says the partnership is another way for the healthcare provider to connect with the community.
