A Taylorville Memorial Hospital employee is being recognized for her dedication to patient care and her commitment to supporting her coworkers.

Destiny Evrley, a rehabilitation technician in the hospital's physical therapy department, has been named Taylorville Memorial Hospital's July Colleague of the Month.

According to the hospital, Evrley is known for her attention to detail, reliability and willingness to go the extra mile to keep the department operating smoothly, even during busy or challenging situations. Hospital officials say she is also recognized for staying late when needed to ensure work is completed thoroughly.

Evrley recently played an important role during a flooring replacement project by assisting with cleaning and organizing efforts throughout the department. Her work helped maintain daily operations while ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

In her nomination, a coworker praised Evrley's strong work ethic and commitment to keeping the department clean, safe and prepared for patient care. The nomination also highlighted her ability to work well with colleagues and her pride in supporting positive outcomes for patients.
