The Taylorville Public Library is calling on the community to help keep its “micro food pantry” stocked.  They receive donations as well from the Taylorville Food Pantry, but demand has outpaced what the library has supplied.  The library hosts the micro pantry through its affiliation with the Christian County Prevention Coalition and also hosts that group’s monthly meetings.  Erin Crommett, who handles outreach and promotions for the library, says their micro pantry also offers hygiene and school-related items.
