Missing 14-Year Old Could Potentially Be In Taylorville.

A search is underway for a missing 14-year-old girl from the Chicago area, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in bringing her home safely.

According to a Facebook Post from the Taylorville Police Department, the missing juvenile has the potential to be in or around the Taylorville area.

The missing juvenile, 14-year-old Julianna Faber, was last seen on April 27th in Addison, Illinois.

Investigators say she has reddish curly hair at shoulder length, brown eyes, and a nose ring.

Details of what she was wearing the last time she was seen are unknown, and no further description of Faber has been given.

Faber’s case number, assigned by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), is 208593.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Addison Police Department at 630-543-3080 or call the NCMEC’s hotline at 1-800-843-5678. (1-800-THE-LOST)

Local police say every tip matters, and they are urging anyone who may have seen Faber, or knows details of her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

Officials stress not to assume someone else has already called. Even the smallest detail could help lead investigators in the right direction to help bring Faber home safely.

Authorities are asking residents across Illinois and beyond to keep an eye out and share Julianna’s information, hoping public awareness can help bring her home safely.
