A chance to give back to those in need is coming up on May 13th and 14th with the ImpactLife Community Blood Drive. A blood drive will take place in Pana on the 13th and in Taylorville on the 14th.
On Wednesday, May 13th, Pana First United Methodist Church will host the first of the two blood drives at the church’s Fellowship Hall, located at 619 Kitchell Street in Pana. You can attend the blood drive to donate blood between 1 PM and 6 PM.

On Thursday, May 14th, from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM, you can donate blood at the ImpactLife Donor Bus. The bus will be parked behind Taylorville Memorial Hospital, located at 201 E Pleasant St in Taylorville.

Both drive locations are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call ImpactLife Springfield at 1-800-747-5401.
You can also set up an appointment online at www.bloodcenter.org. Use code 60036 online to sign up for a Pana appointment, and use code 60050 to sign up online for Taylorville.
To qualify as a potential donor, you must be at least 17 years of age or older, weigh more than 110 pounds, and must possess a valid photo ID. Those who are at least 16-years-old can still donate with parent or guardian permission. If you have given blood on or after the date of March 19th, 2026 will not be eligible. Blood donors who donated before that date are still welcome.
Successful donors get an ImpactLife Donor Reward of their choice. Those reward options include an E-gift Card with many redemption options, a donation to charity, or bonus points to the Donor Rewards Store.
