Chris-Mont EMA Releases COVID Vaccine Schedule

Chris-Mont EMA announced a COVID vaccination clinic schedule. There are a few key things that Chris-Mont EMA would like to remind the public. There aren’t enough vaccines available to meet the demand of those who want it right now. Pharmacies will be coming very soon to start administering vaccines as well to the public. The Illinois National Guard will also be sending out help through February to assist with vaccine distribution.

For February, clinics will be offered on February 2nd from 9-1 PM, Saturday February 13th for Christian County School and Daycare staff.  This is a closed clinic and will be set up with the school prior to the event. February 16th, 1st dose only. February 18th will be the 2nd dose only for those who received their first shot on January 19th. February 23rd will be the 1st dose only with the group yet to be announced and February 25th will be the 2nd dose only for those who received their first shot on January 26th.

The Chris-Mont EMA once again is reminding citizens to not stay overnight, do not leave your vehicle unattended, bring your authorization form with you to the clinic, and make sure the forms are legible. For more information, contact the Chris-Mont EMA at 971-8196.
