There are always myths and rumors about vaccines especially as new vaccines are given out. President and CEO of Taylorville Memorial Hospital talked a little about the two different vaccines and dispelled some rumors about the vaccine. Bourne says that the purpose of a vaccine is to build up antibodies.
The vaccine has caused very little side effects and if you do get a side effect, Bourne maintains that it does go away fairly quick.
As far as the second round of shots, Bourne says there may be a stronger response to the vaccine.
