The Taylorville burn ban has been extended. The leaf burning ban that is in place in Taylorville will remain that way until at least May 5th, according to Mayor Bruce Barry. On Monday, May 4th, the City Council will vote if it will be either extended or eliminated. The burn ban was put in place in April to help alleviate extended breathing issues of people who may be compromised further from COVID-19. For any questions or comments call the Mayor at 287-7946.
