Montgomery County Reports 2 New COVID-19 Cases

Montgomery County is reporting two new cases of COVID-19. The Montgomery Nursing and Rehab Center located in Taylor Springs has confirmed a resident of the facility has tested positive for the coronavirus. The center continues to focus on resident safety and prevention. It is still thoroughly screening all employees, not allowing visitors, conducting intensive vital sign screenings, and avoiding all communal dining and activities. Around central Illinois, Sangamon County is reporting 41 new cases of COVID-19, with most cases coming from the Villas of Sherman, a senior care community that brings the total cases in Sangamon County to 153. Moultrie and Macon Counties are both reporting 1 new case of the virus as well.
