Hospitals across Illinois on May 11th can start doing elective procedures, but there are a lot requirements that Taylorville Memorial Hospital President and CEO Kim Bourne says that they will have to meet.
One of the requirements that has to be met before a procedure can be held is that they have to have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of that procedure.
Allowing elective procedures is a step in the right direction, according to Bourne.
