Christian County is reporting new positive tests in the battle against COVID-19. According to the Christian County-Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency, Christian County is up to 28 positive tests with 4 deaths and 241 negative tests. Shelby County Department of Public Health announced late last week, that they are up to 10 COVID-19 cases, with 4 cases coming from a community-integrated living arrangement operated by Healthcare Management Corporation.

Chris-Mont EMA again stressed that they will not be giving recovery numbers due to guidance from health officials as to the moment when people are no longer infected.

A Mcdonalds in Hillsboro is taking precautionary measures after an employee had a family member test positive for the virus. Out of an abundance of caution, the restaurant quarantined those who worked with the employee and closed briefly for a deep cleaning. The store is following CDC guidelines and is expected to reopen today. Due to staffing levels, hours of business will be reduced.
