Miller Media Group Broadcasts "An Hour of Faith and Encouragement"

The 5 Miller Media Group radio stations in Taylorville, Monday afternoon hosted what it called "An Hour of Faith and Encouragement" discussing the spiritual, mental, and physical needs the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent "Stay at Home" order have caused.  

 

Presidents of local ministerial associations in Taylorville, Pana, and Shelbyville, joined the discussion.  Bill Kerns is pastor of Davis Memorial Christian Church and is president of the Taylorville Ministerial Association, addressing the spiritual needs local communities are going thru.  Kerns said people are searching to discover or renew their faith.

 

 

Amanda Richards is pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Pana and president of that community's Ministerial Association, talked about how her own family addresses the mental challenges of what's going on in life.

 

 

Don Jeffries is pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Shelbyville, and leads that town's Ministerial Association.  Jeffries talked about people's physical needs and how the faith community is there to help.
