Sheriff Kettelkamp Talks COVID-19 Precautions And Governor Pritzker Commutations

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is working hard every single day to protect the residents of Christian County. Sheriff Deputies are still making arrests and people are still being booked into the county jail. Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp said that they are taking every possible precaution to keep the staff and inmates safe from COVID-19.

 

 

Recently, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office did have a positive COVID-19 case with one of the part time cooks, but according to Sheriff Kettelkamp no inmates were impacted and the few employees that could have had contact with the cook that tested positive went on a voluntary quarantine.
 

 

When asked about Governor Pritzker’s release of convicted murderers, Sheriff Kettelkamp said that he feels for the families of the victims.
