More personal protective equipment is on its way into Illinois. Governor JB Pritzker announced the latest shipment will be coming in from China. Governor Pritzker says the National Guard is coordinating the logistics to make this all work.

Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health, says we need to keep our children strong during this time and keep them hopeful. 

Dr. Ezike does not have a definitive number for recovery information but says that her team is consistently following up to get more real data on these numbers.

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 1,197 new cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois, including 33 additional deaths. This brings the total number of cases to 30,357 with 1,290 deaths in 93 of the 102 counties in Illinois.
