Governor Pritzker Answering Questions About COVID-19; 125 New Deaths In State

Another day in Illinois, another day full of new COVID-19 cases. The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 1,585 new cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois including 125 additional deaths. Governor JB Pritzker said it’s alright to feel drained from this, as it’s draining everyone but there are still plenty of bright spots in Illinois. 

 

 

Governor Pritzker says that once he knows about extending the stay-at-home order he will announce it.

 

 

He was also mum on whether or not the state would open fully or on a county by county basis.

 

 

IDPH is reporting a total of 29,160 cases including 1,259 deaths in 93 of the 102 counties in Illinois.
