In School Classes Canceled For Remainder of 2019-2020 School Year

On a day where Illinois broke their own record for most cases of COVID-19, the top conversation was about school. Governor JB Pritzker announced today that school for the rest of the year would be canceled. 

 

Governor Pritzker praised schools that have already worked hard to overcome adversity.

 

 

There was also a special message for the seniors of Illinois.

 

 

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced today 1,842 new cases of coronavirus in Illinois including 62 additional deaths. Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 27,525 cases including 1,134 deaths in 92 out of the 102 counties in Illinois.
